It’s an exciting time for Saab right now – the world’s press has just been treated to a fantastic test drive of the Saab 9-3 Convertible in the South of France, and we’ve also been busy at the Geneva Motor Show, where several new models are on show.

| The Saab 9-3 Sport-Hatch Concept joins its 9-3 Sport Sedan and Convertible siblings for the first time at this year's Geneva show, previewing how the range will be extended as Saab continues the most intensive new product development program in its history. The 9-3 Sport-Hatch Concept is a declaration of our intent to enter the premium, mid-size wagon segment for the first time. | |

Just two months ago Saab exhibited its 9-2X all-wheel-drive sports compact model at the Detroit Auto Show, confirming start of sales in North America this summer. And next month, at the New York Auto Show, the Saab 9-7X SUV makes its public debut ahead of a launch in North America next year.
As well as the show-stopping Saab 9-3 Sport-Hatch Concept, Saab highlights at this year's show include:
• The new Saab 9-3 Convertible, which is now available with a choice of 150, 175 or 210 bhp 2.0-liter turbo engines
• A new face in the Saab 9-3 Sport Sedan range - a 122 bhp. 1.8 naturally-aspirated engine.
• Sharper styling for Aero models in the Saab 9-5 sedan and wagon range, and the addition of a 220 bhp turbo engine option in Linear, Arc and Vector variants.

| The awards keep on rolling in for the Saab 9-3 Sport Sedan, this time from two of the UK's most prestigious magazines. Auto Trader, the leading buying guide for new and used cars, has awarded us the title of "Compact Executive Car of the Year". The magazine praised the outstanding build quality, driving characteristics, competitive price and top class safety features of the 9-3 Sport Sedan.

 | | Another leading car magazine, Top Gear Magazine's Buyer's Guide, placed the Saab 9-3 Sport Sedan ahead of both the Audi A4 and BMW 3 Series by handing it the "Top Small Executive Car" award. Top Gear wrote that the Saab earned its first place with ease, describing it as "safe, stylish and incredibly well constructed."

| Journalists from all over the world were treated to an action-packed press event for the new Saab 9-3 Convertible last month. The event took place both in the Mediterranean resort of Monaco and up in the snow-covered mountains nearby. They were given the chance to put the new Saab 9-3 Convertible through its paces between two ideal locations for the four-season four-seater.

| The day started with a top-down cruise through the sun-kissed streets of Monaco, followed by a more challenging drive up through mountainous terrain to the winter sports resort of Isola, where the drivers were able to experience the cosy cabriolet interior in sub-zero temperatures, 2000 meters above sea level.
They were also given a demonstration of the remarkable CargoWing accessory, and were suitable impressed by the ski-carrying abilities of this unique feature.
