Arguably the biggest wedding of the year saw the Danish Crown Prince Frederik married to his fiancée Miss Mary Donaldson in Copenhagen. The Danish Saab Organisation marked the occasion in style with an exclusive wedding gift to the happy couple – an elegant blue Saab 9-3 Aero Convertible.

Director Peter Hansen from Andersen and Martini A/S, representing the Danish Saab Organisation, handed over the keys to Miss Donaldson at Amalienborg Castle, two days before the wedding. The car has a luxurious light leather interior, and all the equipment Miss Donaldson could have wished for. After an extensive guided instruction to the car and its features, and with state-of-the-art entertainment and navigation systems, the happy couple can now explore Denmark comfortably, safely and with style.

In the world of in-line speed skating, one team stands head and shoulders above the rest. After dominating both the individual and team events throughout 2003, the Saab Salomon World Team are now preparing for another season of success. This fast-growing sport, which sees racers reach speeds of up to 40 km/h, is thrilling for both competitors and spectators alike.

For 2004, Saab Salomon veterans Pascal Briand, Franck Cardin and Juan-Carlos Betancur are joined by two newcomers: 22-year-old Thomas Boucher from France and the 18-year-old Columbian Ariza Anderson. All five will be using the audacious new Salomon S-Lab 100 skate in their bid to maintain Saab Salomon’s position as the most successful speed skating team of all time.

Events will be taking place throughout the year, from the gruelling 24-hour team race at Le Mans in July to the World Championships in L’Aquila, Italy in September, culminating in the World Cup finals in Columbia this October. Full details of the 2004 season, news from the team and more information about Salomon in-line skate technology can be found by following the link below.
