World Premiere of the
Saab 9-3 SportCombi
Meet the man behind the design
After Sales

Hi,

Welcome to Saab-i. Today is the World Premiere of the all-new
Saab 9-3 SportCombi at the Geneva Motorshow. To mark this exciting event, we‘re bringing you all the latest details about the car, as well as an interview with its Chief Designer, Simon Padian.

We also have news of three Saab Performance Packs that we‘ve created to enhance both the look and feel of your
Saab 9-3 Sport Sedan, 9-3 Convertible or Saab 9-5
.

Best regards,

Knut Simonsson
Executive Director
Global Brand & Sales Operations

All eyes will be on the Saab stand at this year‘s Geneva Motorshow, as we unveil the all-new
Saab 9-3 SportCombi. With its aerodynamic wedge-shaped profile, sporty good looks and excellent performance and handling characteristics, it‘s set to make a big impact in the premium small wagon sector when it goes on sale later this year.

The 9-3 SportCombi is a very versatile wagon, and yet it has both the looks and feel of a sports car. It boasts a range of eight engines, including the powerful, brand-new 2.8 V6 Turbo for the Aero model and two class-leading 1.9 diesel engines. The 9-3 SportCombi will offer a dynamic, involved driving experience thanks to a host of active handling systems.

Open up the stylish, angular trunk and you‘ll find a truly innovative and versatile cargo space, which is deceptively large, almost completely square and, by lifting the recessed aeroplane-shaped handle, reveals further under¬floor storage compartments.

As you would expect from Saab, special attention has been paid to the safety features of the
9-3 SportCombi, and it benefits from many of the systems that helped earn the Saab 9-3 Sport Sedan its top ratings from EuroNCAP and the IIHS last year, including our renowned SAHR Saab Active Head Restraints.
