Welcome to Saab-i. In this issue we’re featuring the new ‘Pilots Wanted’ website, where you can become a Saab ‘Test Pilot’ and take a thrilling virtual test drive on a closed airfield at night. You can also marvel at the incredible driving feats of the Saab Performance Team.

As in the cockpit of any aircraft, the interior layout of a car is crucial — every button and lever needs to be easily and instinctively accessible. By redesigning the interior of the Saab 9-3 range, we’ve not only made driving even more intuitive, but we’ve incorporated a host of new and upgraded features.

There is so much more for the modern driver to consider — phones ringing, directions to find, MP3 players to listen to — that with fewer buttons to control the same number of functions and a simpler, more modern look, the new interior makes it much easier to see what you are doing, and gives you more time to focus on the road ahead.

We have also improved and upgraded the infotainment system. There are new CD and MP3 functions, and a new Bluetooth phone system that lets you dock your mobile and use it via the infotainment system controls, so you no longer need a separate SIM card. The new satellite navigation system has a larger display screen for clearer directions and the dual zone ACC climate control systems now comes as standard in all new Saab 9-3 models. Saab has also teamed up with the leading speaker company BOSE to provide extraordinary audio quality in all 9-3 Sport Sedans.

As every pilot will tell you, navigation is the key to every successful trip. If you’re looking for a handy navigation system for your existing car, the Garmin 300 nüvi portable GPS navigator will do more than just plot your route, however.
